Jake Willers started playing Pickleball in the summer of 2022. His family, like so many, had suffered many losses during the Covid pandemic. Alyson, Jake’s wife, fell victim to Long-Haul Covid and for eighteen months experienced incapacitating symptoms. When Jake tried Pickleball due to a recommendation from friends who played regularly in another state, he discovered an activity that not only gave him physical exercise but also a huge boost in mental health and social engagement which essentially helped Jake recover his vitality that he had lost over the previous two years.

Jake excelled quickly at the sport and wanted to do something for the community that he had found. Through his own experience and speaking with local players Jake found a gaping hole in the availability of products and resources that Pickler’s want and need locally. A dedicated Pickleball store committed to customer service fills that gap and promises to build a stronger community.
